Green Queen

Leah Glouberman, a then student of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, approached me to help design the bedroom set of her short film. The set needed to be a bedroom that was half green and half white. The green side of the room needed to be entirely green, from floor to ceiling, all objects and apparel included. We started with her empty garage as the basis for the rooms, and then added items, built some faux walls, added beds etc. We even made the flat screen TV look like a picture on the wall. This project was loads of fun and the film turned out great!

Synopsis:
When a young girl obsessed with the color green attends her first day of elementary school, maintaining her individuality is put to the ultimate test.

Written and Directed by Leah Glouberman
Produced by Ryan Ly
Shot and Edited by Sam Walfish
